Anyway, how much do you know about the Oscars? Not much I guess, nobody needs it anyway. But i'll give you a little info. Thanks to my winkie(short from for wikipedia)

The 1st Academy Awards ceremony was held on Thursday, May 16, 1929, at the Hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood to honor outstanding film achievements of 1927 and 1928. It was hosted by actor Douglas Fairbanks and director William C. deMille.

Since 1950, the statuettes have been legally encumbered by the requirement that neither winners nor their heirs may sell the statuettes without first offering to sell them back to the Academy for US$1. If a winner refuses to agree to this stipulation, then the Academy keeps the statuette. Academy Awards not protected by this agreement have been sold in public auctions and private deals for six-figure sums
That's it, all you need to know about the oscars. Useless facts that will not help us in anyway.

My first job

I skimmed through the entire page, looking and looking. It has been going on for days. Since I got back from India, my thirst for a job started. I would buy a paper everyday and glance through the whole of the ‘Jobs’ section trying to find the right job for me

. And today, I struck gold. There in the bottom of the page read ‘Flyer distribution. Students may apply.’ Without even saying a word to my parents I rushed down to the address they had given for the interview (yes they actually interviewed me for this job).

But as they explained to me what the job is all about I almost blacked out.

Well according to them I had to go block to block and paste these dumb flyers on the walls.

And for every 200 of these I paste I get $2! That’s really really little.

The best part is I have to go to the people in charge to collect the money ($2)

Co-incidentally the bus fare for the journey there is $2.00.

But I still decided to take the job till I find a decent 1.
